Kodansha USA is excited to announce that acclaimed manga creator Makoto Yukimura, author of the fan-favorite viking drama and inspiration for the anime, Vinland Saga, will make his U.S. Debut appearance at Comic-Con International San Diego 2023. From July 20 through 23, Kodansha USA will celebrate both Yukimura-sensei and Vinland Saga at booth #5542 with signings, con-exclusive giveaways and additional surprises. Fans can experience the unfolding viking epic, with the Vinland Saga Manga Gallery – which recaps the story of 13 manga volumes, and two seasons of anime now streaming on Netflix & Crunchyroll – through Yukimura-sensei's masterful artwork.

Makoto Yukimura is one of Japan's most respected manga artists. His works include the Viking epic Vinland Saga (published in English by Kodansha), winner of the Japan Media Arts Grand Prize and adapted into an anime streaming worldwide on Netflix, and the hard science fiction series Planetes (published in English by Dark Horse).
